What's the best photo you took this year? Show and tell!
Same as most people, there's no way I can pick just one. AND since today is my ONE YEAR VOXIVESARY it's an excellent opportunity for me to summarize a great year of VOXING and PHOTOGING! So here goes!
I love this picture I took of Hailey, my Mom and my two nieces on Thanksgiving. It was a full body shot but I cropped it to a sort of banner size. To me it kind of looks like the promo shot for some new drama show. My Mom as the rich, bitchy, intimidating matriarch and her three, beautiful, but spoiled Granddaughters LOL!
I love this picture of Jessica feeding Alex that I took on Christmas Eve. My sister was taking pictures too but after I had already snapped this totally natural shot she was telling Jessica to look up and smile. I like mine better because Jessica is looking at Alex so lovingly while she feeds him. It's a beautiful Mother and Child photo.
I love this picture I took of Alex with the Christmas teddy bear. He looks like a little baby doll!
These are my two favorite 'stills' from Christmas. I had such a good time fixing everything up and then taking pictures!
Michael and Alyssa working on the tangled lights. I enjoyed watching them as they giggled about who was pulling on which strand. They were really cute so I just had to snap a pic of them.
I've really had a blast this year taking pictures of food. It's something new for me that I just started doing when I joined VOX. Here's a few of my favorites:
Wow, I would definitely have to say that parades and football games were a big part of my life this year. I went to many and took lots of photos. Here are some of my favorites from this year:
Homewood Christmas Parade 2007
Homewood High School Homecoming Parade, Game and Dance 2007
Football Games and Band Competitions 2007
Governor's Inauguration Parade, January 2007
I've also tried my hand at taking pictures of nature subjects this year. Here are a few of my favorites:
My fur babies have also been excellent subjects this year.
But I would have to sum it up by saying the best pictures I have taken this year have been of Hailey AFTER getting her braces off and her bridge done. It fills my heart with joy to see her smiling with confidence, especially after all we had been through with her teeth. She's always been a beautiful girl and she deserves nothing less than a beautiful smile!
