The Next Food Network Star - Finale preview

Well, the finale is tonight! FN is running a marathon of previous episodes and I'm watching them even though I've seen them all. I just love watching them cook under pressure. It amazes me how people can look at a pile of ingredients and formulate a dish in their mind in a matter of seconds. I guess that just comes from education and experience.

Not sure if any of you know but FN's website committed a major boo-boo this week. I learned of this through my Google Alert on TNFNS. We all know that this show was pre-recorded and is actually already over right? Well, apparently late Thursday night all the post-show content was incorrectly deployed to production and appeared on their website. Many people saw it and the food blog and article world went beserk! I did not see the content as it was taken down within an hour, but I do know that it included the announcement of the winner, the name of the winner's new show and exit interviews from the two losing contestants. It was a big mistake and I'm sure someone was fired over this (if they weren't they certainly should have been)!

So, unless this was just a cruel joke to confuse us, I know who the winner is and the name of their show but I'm not going to reveal it. No sense in spoiling it for everyone else!

I'm still going to watch because I want to see what the challenges are about!
